McGrath Paddington Agent Alex Jordan Named No 1 Agent For Queensland At REA Excellence Awards
The annual REA Excellence Awards (AREAs) for 2020 announced Mr Jordan had won the coveted award ahead of the 8500 real estate professionals operating in Queensland. The judging criteria is based on sales volume, price and other statistics, as well as reviews over the 2020 calendar year.
Founder and CEO of McGrath Estate Agents John McGrath said, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the best agents in the country over the last 30 years but I can honestly say I’ve never met one better than Alex Jordan. Not only is he an extraordinary agent in every way, he’s an absolute gentleman. I can’t think of a more deserved winner for such a prestigious award.”
Mr Jordan is thrilled by the announcement. "This is a great honour for me to be named among Australia's Top Agents by Realestate.com.au. To be awarded the Number 1 Agent for Queensland is extremely humbling”.
Mr Jordan was quick to acknowledge his dedicated sales team. “None of this would be possible without the support of a great brand and my amazing team so this award also belongs to Kia, Frazer, Nathan and Adriana.”
"I'd also like to pay tribute to our clients,” he added. “It is with their trust and support that we are able to work hard and strive to achieve the very best results for them. Really, the most rewarding part of this job is establishing relationships with so many great people, many of whom have become lifelong friends.”
Mr Jordan said the Queensland market is going from strength to strength. “Being the beneficiary of the highest rate of net interstate migration in the country doesn’t surprise me as interstate buyers have started to recognise and appreciate the lifestyle and financial benefits in living in such a great city,” he said.
“In my opinion, there is no better place to raise a family than Brisbane. We are very grateful to live and work in such a great city and to represent some of Brisbane’s finest homes,” said Mr Jordan.”
Some of Mr Jordans outstanding sales included the grand riverside estate at 500 Jesmond Road in Fig Tree Pocket which traded for $5 million in June 2020 and 57 Sutton Street in Chelmer which sold for $2.75 million in October.
